Learn the game in the demo first
The free demo uses play coins, so it is the right place to learn the parts of the game that cost money to get wrong. Before you play for real, use it to:
- open the paytable and see what each combination pays at different stakes;
- try the heads-or-tails gamble a few times, so you know how the screen works;
- enter Supermeter mode, watch the win move to the Supermeter display, and find out how to leave the mode;
- notice how long the gaps between wins can be with a 10% hit frequency.
Treat demo results as a way to learn the rules, not as a forecast. A few hundred play-coin spins say almost nothing about what the next few hundred will do. The full rules are on how to play Jackpot 6000.
Set a budget and stake before you start
Decide two numbers before your first spin: how much you are prepared to lose, and roughly how many spins you want to play. Your stake follows from those two numbers.
| Budget | Spins you want | Stake per spin |
| £10 | 100 | £0.10 |
| £20 | 100 | £0.20 |
| £50 | 100 | £0.50 |
| £50 | 250 | £0.20 |
This is simple division, and it assumes no wins come back into play. In practice some do, so the budget usually lasts longer, but with a 10% hit frequency it can also run down quickly. Our RTP and payouts page shows how likely long runs without a win are. Set a time limit as well, and keep the budget separate from money for bills and savings.
Two rules help more than any system: do not raise your stake to win back losses, and do not top up the budget during the session.
When does Supermeter mode make sense?
Use only what NetEnt states as your starting point. After a win you are given the option to enter Supermeter mode by clicking SPIN. Your win moves to the Supermeter display, each spin costs 20 coins, and you can win random jackpots, including payouts from a special Joker paytable. NetEnt's maximum RTP of 98.9% is reached with Supermeter play.
That gives a fair way to think about it:
- It fits if you have already decided that wins are part of your session budget and you are happy to put them back into play for a chance at larger prizes.
- It does not fit if you need that win to stay within your budget, or if you would feel you had lost money that was "yours" when the Supermeter balance shrinks.
- Check the coin value. 20 coins per spin can be a different amount of money from your normal stake, so look at what it means in your currency first.
We have not tested Supermeter mode with money and we do not publish session results. The mode does not change the fact that each spin is random.
The gamble feature: 50/50 and risk
The double-up in Jackpot 6000 is a heads-or-tails call: you either double the win or lose it. With two possible outcomes it is presented as a coin toss, and it cannot make a session safer. At best it makes each result more extreme in both directions: a bigger win or nothing.
Some practical rules players use:
- decide before the session whether you will use the gamble at all;
- never gamble a win you need to stay within your budget;
- if you do gamble, set a limit, such as one call per win, and keep to it.
Common slot myths
These beliefs are common, and none of them holds up with a random game:
- "It is due a win." After 30 losing spins, the next spin has the same chance as any other. The game has no memory.
- "Hot and cold machines." A run of wins or losses is what randomness looks like; it does not predict the next spin.
- "Timing the spin button helps." When you press spin has no influence on where the reels stop.
- "Jackpot 6000 tricks and systems." Paid systems, hacks and "secret settings" that promise wins do not work. Anyone selling them is a reason to be careful.
- "Raising the stake after a loss gets it back." Doubling up after losses only makes losing runs more expensive.
