Why "up to" 98.9%?
The NetEnt RTP figure comes with a qualifier: NetEnt describes the game as having "high RTP potential up to 98.9%". So when you see "RTP 98.9%" next to Jackpot 6000, read it as the maximum, reached with Supermeter play. Two things decide what you actually get:
- The casino's version. A casino can run the game with a version or settings that return less. If the casino or the game's help screen shows an RTP, that number applies to you, not the headline figure.
- How you play. The top figure is tied to Supermeter mode. If you never use Supermeter mode, do not expect your long-run return to reach 98.9%.
Before you play for money, find the RTP shown by the casino you use. If it is lower than you expected, you can compare it with other NetEnt games on our classic slots page.
What does a 10% hit frequency mean?
Hit frequency is the share of spins that produce a win. NetEnt lists 10% for Jackpot 6000, so on average about one spin in ten wins something and nine pay nothing. A win is not always a profit, because some wins are smaller than your stake.
Long dry spells follow from that number. If every spin has the same 10% chance of a win, the chance that any run of spins brings no win at all is:
| Spins in a row | Chance of no win at all |
| 5 | about 59% |
| 10 | about 35% |
| 20 | about 12% |
| 30 | about 4% |
These are simple probability calculations (0.9 multiplied by itself once per spin), not results from a test session. They show why a budget for Jackpot 6000 should cover plenty of losing spins. For comparison, NetEnt lists 17% for Mega Joker.
Max win: 600× your bet
The Jackpot 6000 max win is 600 times your bet, the largest Jackpot 6000 payout NetEnt lists. Using NetEnt's own bet range, that works out as follows:
| Stake per spin | 600 × bet |
| €0.10 (lowest in NetEnt's range) | €60 |
| €0.50 | €300 |
| €1.00 | €600 |
| €2.00 (highest in NetEnt's range) | €1,200 |
Casinos can set other stake limits and show amounts in pounds, dollars or other currencies; the 600× multiple is the part that stays the same. A capped top prize also means the game's high RTP comes from many smaller and mid-sized wins rather than one huge hit.
Jackpot 6000 volatility
NetEnt's game data for Jackpot 6000 lists a volatility value of 9.9 on NetEnt's own scale. NetEnt does not explain that scale, and its data gives Mega Joker the same 9.9, so we do not translate the number into "low", "medium" or "high".
The figures NetEnt does explain describe the feel of the game better: a 10% hit frequency, so long runs of losing spins are normal, and a 600× cap on the top payout. Slot RTP and volatility answer different questions. RTP is how much a game returns over a very long run; volatility describes how unevenly that return arrives, in a few large wins or many small ones. A high RTP does not mean a game pays steadily.
Paytable and symbols
NetEnt does not publish the Jackpot 6000 paytable on its game page, and we only print payouts we can check at an official source. For that reason this page gives no symbol-by-symbol figures.
What we can say: the reels carry classic fruit-machine symbols, such as fruits, bells and sevens, plus the Joker. In Supermeter mode, each spin costs 20 coins, and you can win random jackpots, including payouts from a special Joker paytable. To see the current values, open the paytable inside the game; the free demo lets you do that without staking money. Our how to play guide explains the rest of the rules.
